The PNLC is open Fridays from 9 AM -12 Noon, and is located at 407 S. Mechanic.
People in need can come in and get these products free of charge. Visits are limited to one per month.
Donations are appreciated.
The Personal Needs and Linen Closet (PNLC) is a program of Catholic Charities of Jackson County. This program provides personal and household necessities to members of our community who struggle to afford the basic products, that many of us take for granted. It is a constant challenge to keep our shelves stocked. The items we give away are supplied by donations, and items purchased with our limited funds from the Food Bank.
We ask you, our dear friends in the community, to consider helping us with the ongoing challenge of keeping the shelves of the PNLC stocked. This can be done by taking up regular donations at your place of work, your Church, or your home. Any one time donation is greatly appreciated. If you can organize a weekly, monthly, bi-annual collection of items it would be very helpful as well. Your donation of items would go a long way towards helping those we serve realize the dignity which is inherent in each person but not always felt. Following is a list of items we constantly need.
